Galvanised Steel 镀锌钢
Steel coated with a layer of zinc. Usually processed by dipping the steel into a hot bed of zinc.
涂装有一层锌层的钢板，一般是在热镀锌槽中浸镀。
Gassing 气孔
Air or gas that escapes from a sub surface beneath a coating and causes blisters, eruptions or bubbles in the coating.
空气或气体从涂层表面下溢出导致涂层出现气孔、火山口、汽泡。
Gel Time 胶化时间
Interval of time required at a given temperature for a powder coating to be transformed from dry solid to a gel like state. Measured in seconds.
粉末在一定的温度下由粉末转化成胶凝状态的时间，一般用秒表示。
Gloss 光泽
The degree of reflection of light from the cured film.
固化涂膜反射光线的程度。
Gloss Retention 保光率
The ability of a coating to retain its original gloss.
涂层保持原始光泽的能力。
Gravity Hopper 重力喂料斗
A powder container, typically cone shaped design to force powder by gravity to feed a gun or transfer system.
一个粉末容器，典型的锥形设计为了使粉末以重力的方式进入喷枪或输送系统。
Grinder 研磨机
Device used to crush or pulverise plastic or solid coating to powder form.
压碎、研磨塑料或固体涂料成粉末形式的设备。

Hardener 硬化剂
Curing agent for thermosetting powder coatings.
热固性粉末涂料固化剂。
Hardness硬度
The ability to withstand indentation and damage.
经得起划伤的能力。
Hiding Power遮盖力
The extent to which a powder coating masks the colour and pattern of the surface it is applied to at a given film thickness.
一定厚度的粉末涂料涂层遮盖住颜色和图案的程度。
High Voltage Cable 高压电缆
A specially designed cable that carries high voltage from generator to gun.
专门设计的从发生器到喷枪输送高压的电缆。
High Voltage Generator高压发生器
An electrical power transformer that converts 220 - 250 volts AC current to high voltage DC.一个把220~250伏交流电转化成高压直流电的变压器。
Hose 软管
Flexible tube used to convey either powder from hopper to gun or compressed air to gun.
把粉末从粉桶输送到喷枪或把压缩空气输送到喷枪的柔性管子。
Humidity湿度
A measure of the amount of moisture in the air.
空气中湿气含量的量度。
Hybrid 混合型
An epoxy polyester powder coating product.
环氧聚酯型粉末涂料产品。
Immiscible 不能混合的
Incapable of being blended.
不能混合的。
Impact Fusion 冲击熔化
The tendency of finely divided powder to combine with other particles in the application equipment creating a hard crust.
在涂装设备上细微粉末粒子之间结合到一起产生硬的外壳。
Incompatibility 不相容
Inability to mix two powders without getting a different surface appearance, such as gloss reduction or craters.
两种粉末不能混合，混合后会出现不同的表面，如光泽的降低或缩孔。
Infrared (IR)红外线
Light Energy used in short wave or medium wave forms to initiate cure in a powder coating.
用于固化粉末涂料的短波或中波的光能。
Infrared Cure 红外固化
A method of curing powder using direct exposure to light energy.
直接暴露在光能下而固化粉末涂料的一种方法。
Inhibitor Pigments 防腐蚀颜料
Pigments that retard to the corrosion process in the substrate.
能够延缓基材腐蚀的一种颜料。
Inorganic 无机的
A substance that is not formed by natural growth.
不是通过自然生长形成的物质。
Insoluble 不溶物
A substance that will not dissolve in water or solvent.

Integral Charging 积分充电
A powder gun that has a low voltage single supply to it, and steps up the current to high voltage via a cascade multiplier located in the gun barrel.

Intercoat Adhesion 内涂附着力
The ability of a powder coating to adhere to a previously applied film.

Chemical deposition on steel for promoting corrosion protection and improving adhesion.

Isocyanate Resin Urethane Resins 异氰酸酯树脂聚氨酯树脂
Isocyanate curing agents which when heated or reacted with hydroxy functional polymers giving urethane coatings.
